Diagnostic inspection of cable lines (CL) consists of identifying areas with weakened insulation and finding the damage zone. As a result of CL diagnostics, the possibility of further operation is determined, the need to remove the line for repair or replacement of the damaged section.

The DIAKS technology for CL diagnostics was tested in the USA and Canada on 140 kV and higher CL, city power supply, that is, with a high external interference load, as well as at hydroelectric power plants, thermal power plants and cable networks in Russia and the Republic of Cuba.
