Benefits

Nominally, all companies specializing in electrical equipment diagnostics, use the same measurement methods on operating equipment, including:
partial discharge measurement
vibration measurement
thermal imaging control
oil control (for transformers)
However, what makes a difference is the depth of the analysis that a diagnostic company can perform on the data and measurements collected.
Unlike most companies on the market, we have the maximum depth of use of methods, all relevant measurement techniques, the necessary instrumentation, as well as a large array of accumulated statistical data for accurate prediction of possible breakdowns.

Average diagnostics company vs. Electroguardia

Based on measurements of partial discharges, most specialists can only state whether they are present or not.
We can further classify the observed partial discharges into signals from winding insulation, sparking in the package and its fastening elements, signals from inputs or OLTC, and also conduct a volumetric location of each type of signal.
With the classical use of vibrations measurements, many problems arise due to unprotectedness of measurements from noises, e.g. when there are noises from neighboring equipment, passing vehicles, etc.
We apply the method of measuring vibration by analyzing the harmonics of capacitive current and vibration displacements, which allows us to determine not only the type of phenomenon (what exactly vibrates e.g. the package of active steel, winding, rotational vibrations etc.), but also their contribution to the overall vibration. We also have the technology to detect the location for each vibration phenomenon.
The differences in thermal imaging control are the same. Most use expensive thermal imagers at 1-5% of their functional capabilities, like pyrometers (when the heating temperature exceeds 30 degrees or more).
We take into account the rejection criteria for the control of porcelain inputs, TN and TT, which can be up to 0.8 degrees. We process thermograms using thermographic functions, that is, with the calculation of pixels with different temperatures and the construction of information graphs.
Not everyone has developed and time-tested methods for the entire range of electrical equipment.
We have over 40 years of experience working with the full range of electrical equipment of various classes, generations and manufacturers.
